Community Projects > AlieNation

AlieNation is a long-term international participatory art project that examines our generation’s global phenomena of mass migration and the disturbing trend of dehumanizing of the migrant- an alien without a home, without rights or a defined identity.

The project manifests in many forms of storytelling including a short documentary film, interviews, performance, and a collection of anonymous internet annotations- always with an opportunity for the audience to contribute to the conversation.

AlieNation will also create an interactive map of human displacement with photos, videos, stories and neighborhood cultural interventions that visually illustrate the many layers and intricacies of immigration in the 21st century.
